Abstract
Every day, several hundred million people are asked to prove they are human before they are allowed to read a sentence. They squint at a bus. They are told the bus was not a bus. They try again. Nobody has ever been paid for this labour.
Captcha Coin proposes a token that is honest about the arrangement: everything costs you effort except spending money, which is instant. We did not invent that trade. We just put a ticker on it.
The problem
Verification has quietly become the largest unpaid job on the internet. The friction is one-directional: it is applied to reading, never to purchasing. No checkout has ever asked you to identify a fire hydrant.
Our contribution is to make that asymmetry visible by building it at full scale, with twenty-three challenge types, four mini-games and a buy button that asks nothing at all.
The mechanism
Proof-of-Impulse
Traditional consensus asks participants to prove work or stake. We ask them to prove impulse: the willingness to act before verification completes. It is the only human trait our system can measure reliably, because it is the only one anybody demonstrates here.
The three-failure rule
Verification on this site is passable. It takes exactly three failures. This is not a bug and it is not generosity — it is the thesis. Persistence is what separates a person from a script, and a script gives up after two.
Holder exemption
Holders would be exempt from verification, on the grounds that buying a token you first heard about from a captcha is the most unambiguously human act available in 2026.
Supply and fee
Total supply is 1,000,000,000 $CAPTCHA, allocated 40% liquidity, 32% community, 20% marketing, 7% dev team and 1% unaccounted. A 1% transaction fee applies to every buy and sell, split 0.5% back into liquidity, 0.3% to the dev team and captcha infrastructure, and 0.2% to marketing.

Risks
- Meme tokens are not investments. Assume the value can go to zero, because for most of them it does. Only use money you are happy to lose entirely.
- Nothing has launched yet. Any contract address claiming to be $CAPTCHA today is not ours. Until the address appears on captchacoin.lol, anything for sale is a scam.
- No promises. Nothing in this document is a commitment, a forecast or a guarantee of any outcome.
- Regulation exists. Token rules differ by country, including MiCA in the EU. Check what applies where you live before taking part.
